This is a map layer created based on the data derived from a study on trees distribution found on 152 roads of Bangalore. This map layer has detailed information of the tree species found in the roads surveyed during the study. The study was mainly aimed to assess differences in tree density, size and species composition across roads of different widths, and to investigate changes in planting practices overtime. This study was carried out by Dr. Harini nagendra and Ms. Divya gopal in 2010.
